Commercial Supplies Ltd (CSL) is expert in the manufacture, sourcing, supply and distribution of quality commercial grade merchandise, with over 25 years experience both internationally and locally in the textile industry dealing with leading manufacturers.
Managing Director, Russell Barnes, together with his wife of 28 years, Nadine, pride themselves on bringing the friendly, efficient service of a family-run business to those in the hospitality industry throughout NZ and the South Pacific.

Meet The Team
Russell - Managing Director - Russell has over 25 years experience in the industry. He worked as a senior buyer for a major department chain store before seeing the opening in the market for a company such as CSL, which he founded in 2002. His two main passions in life are his family and his boat "SummerSalt". He can often be spotted on weekends making deliveries to customers living on Waiheke and Great Barrier Island.
Nadine - Marketing Manager - Nadine, Russell's wife, has been working for CSL since late 2003. In her spare time she is a professional ballroom dancing teacher (Dancerama Studios) and imports dancing shoes from Germany, and occasionally joins Russell for trips out on "SummerSalt" when the sea is very calm. She loves her job and especially likes chatting to and helping a wide range of customers.
Bruce - Administration Assistant - Bruce joined us in February 2008 as Russell's 2IC. Bruce worked closely with Russell during their 23 years as one of Farmers' top buying teams, and, like Russell, has a vast knowledge of textiles. Bruce has been brought on board to ensure everything runs smoothly with quotes, orders and deliveries. You will find Bruce in his spare time on the bowling green and he has a keen interest in his race horses.
Krystle
- Communications Manager
Krystle is Russell and Nadine's daughter. She has now completed her Bachelor of Communications degree majoring in Public Relations and is working for CSL full-time assisting with marketing and accounts. Krystle's main focus is managing our new "Open to the Public" website www.queenb.co.nz and she will probably be your first point of contact when you phone through to CSL. Krystle has grown up with textiles and has a great passion for business and communicating with others.
