Please Note:The wool is cleaned with a detergent, a chemical stripping agent is not used as NZ wool is much cleaner. The outer fabric is treated and dyed.
Caring for your Moemoe product:
Natural fibres are best cleaned the same way they are in nature - with fresh air and sunshine. We recommend that you hang your Moemoe product in the sun for as long as possible to freshen it up and revive it.
We treat the wool used in our duvets as little as possible. This means in some cases there may be a slight lanolin smell. Some people are more sensitive to this than others. If you do find that your duvet has a lanolin fragrance, simply hang in direct sun for a day.
A gentle shake of your feather and down bedding after a day in the sun will revive it back to its former glory.
Our pillows come with a removable cotton cover that can be removed and laundered.
Spot cleaning
To spot clean your bedding we recommend that you hold the cotton fabric away from the fill and dab at the stain with a non-chemical cleaner and some water. Dry immediately in the sun or with a hairdryer so the filling doesn't get damaged.
Wash Instructions
If you feel the need to have your bedding cleaned then we recommend a reputable dry-cleaning company.
Storage
Store your Moemoe product in a breathable bag in a well ventilated cupboard. Before use, hang your duvet or pillow, on the clothesline in full sun.
Please Note:
Wool duvet inners may have a natural smell due to the inherent characteristics of wool fibres. This smell is typically temporary and will dissipate over time. However, individual experiences may vary, and some individuals may be more sensitive to the natural smell than others. It is important to note that the natural smell of wool does not indicate any quality issues or defects with the product. Wool is a natural material, and its distinctive odour is part of its natural properties. We recommend that individuals who are particularly sensitive to smells or have respiratory conditions consult with a healthcare professional before purchasing or using wool duvet inners.

We offer free shipping* on all orders over $200.00NZD excl GST throughout Mainland New Zealand. Orders under $200.00NZD excl GST will incur an $8.90NZD+GST freight charge throughout Mainland New Zealand - please contact us for an estimate if you require goods shipped overseas. Please note bulky items such as furniture, beds, bunks and mattresses can only be freighted within Mainland New Zealand and are excluded from our free shipping offer - please contact us for a quote on shipping prior to ordering any of these products. Important - during the festive period (November / December) and during COVID lockdowns (level 2 or higher) there will be delays in both the dispatch and delivery of all orders.
RETURNS
At CSL we stand by the quality of all of our products and are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with your purchase. If you are unhappy with your purchase you may return it to us within 7 days of delivery with the condition the product remains in its original, unopened, unused condition, complete with all original packaging, tags and instruction manuals. Please note we charge a 20% restocking fee which will be deducted from the purchase price on all refunds.
There are NO returns on special make items, duvet inners, mattress toppers or pillows due to hygiene reasons, and beds, bunks, mattresses, bedheads, furniture, clearance specials, international orders or products that have been laundered unless they are faulty.
